Dr. Maggie Vitale, Assistant Superintendent
It is with great pleasure that I have served the Abington Heights School Community since 2021. It truly is a privilege to be a part of such a strong, commitment community focused on excellence.
I started my career in the East Stroudsburg Area School District as a first grade teacher and then assistant principal. I then went on to serve as an elementary principal in Stroudsburg Area School District Following that experience, I had the honor to work as the Coordinator of Special Education at Colonial Intermediate Unit 20.
Dr. Vitale holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Masters of Education Administration from East Stroudsburg University, letter of eligibility from California University of PA, and my Doctorate in Education, with a focus on policy, from Drexel University.
As an educator, I feel that we have civic responsibility to offer our students strong educational programming for them to be successful in their futures. I am grateful for the opportunity to work in Abington Heights!
