Welcome to the Abington Heights and Abington Aquatics website.  Here you will find information about all of the aquatics programs offered to Abington Heights students as well as the community.

Abington Heights High School has a swimming and diving team open to student’s grade 9-12.  The team has enjoyed a lot of success over the years and is one of the top teams in the area.  The swimming and diving season runs from November through March.  Please contact the Athletic office for info on the high school swimming and diving team.

Lap swimming for adults is available October-June from 8:30-10:00 Monday through Friday nights.  The cost is $2.00 per visit, you may purchase a pass for $40.00 for 20 visits. 

Family swim is available in the spring on Friday nights.  The fee is $2.00 per person or you may buy a family pass for $25.00 for a family of four for four visits.

 Lifeguard certifications are offered in the spring each year, as well as CPR recertification. 

Learn to Swim classes are offered in the spring and summer for children 3 and older.  Classes are available from April until July.  We offer all levels of instruction from the very beginner “aquatots” to advanced levels that focus more on proper technique.  Fees for these classes are from $35.00-$75.00.

 Summer competitive team swimming starts in late spring and runs until the end of July.  We have a very successful summer team that competes yearly at the Keystone State Games.  The team is made up of high school, age group and college swimmers.  The fee’s for the team are from $175.00-$250.00.

Abington Gators Swim Team also uses the high school pool.  This is an age group team for swimmers 5-14 that competes in a league against other area teams.  The season runs from October though February.  For more information please email abingtongators@comcast.net.
