ABOUT ABINGTON HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL:   

    Abington Heights High School offers a comprehensive and rigorous program of studies for students in grades 9-12, including AP courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, US PA History, Calculus, Computer Science II, English Language, Spanish Language, Composition (Juniors) an

d English Literature and Composition (Seniors). In addition to the program of studies, students may participate in a wide range of highly successful extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. In 2005-2006, Abington Heights High School produced exceptional teams in Mock Trial, Odyssey of the Mind and Robotics. Athletic teams compiled a 70% winning record with many regional and district titles. The orchestra, band and choral programs enjoy a regional reputation and strong student interest.

     Abington Heights High School offers a broad program of subjects which allows a student to elect courses based upon individual abilities, achievements and goals within the limit of requirements for graduation. With counseling assistance, students may be recommended for placement in one of three levels including Advanced Placement. Extensive curriculum offerings permit qualified students to choose Honors courses in grades 9-12 in English, social studies, mathematics, world language, and science. Five languages are offered for four years: Latin, French, German, Spanish and Russian.
