About our coaches . . .

      Brian Davis.  Brian Davis racked up 92 wins in his high school career. He was one of the first 4-year letterman in wrestling at Abington Heights.. Brian  held longstanding records for pins and takedowns. Coach Davis wrestled for a year at the Division I level at Wilkes. He then played Division II football at East Stroudsburg. He was the starting varsity outside linebacker, beating out many outstanding athletes due to his work ethic, mental toughness, and ability.

Keith Youtz: Keith enjoyed much success as head coach at Lackawanna Trail. He coached several championship teams, as well as District, Regional, and State placewinners. Keith was a state runner-up at Hershey High School and went on to compete at Bloomsburg University. Keith is also Abington Heights' Cross Country assistant varsity coach.

Joining our Jr High Staff is Jim Diven. Jim wrestled, nearly from birth, at Abington Heights under the direction of his father, John Diven. We were very lucky to get Jim to coach with us. He has been running Wyalusing's junior wrestling club, sending several wrestlers to national competitions. Jim is also very involved in the Summit Wrestling Club.
